…fidence is now zero! We ordered a Chinese via eatitnow.co.uk from Cosmo on Reads Avenue, Blackpool. Delivery chap arrives and over charges (£17 when it was £15 on the site). When I said how much it said it would be on the site he advised me I couldn’t have ordered it online because they don’t [...] The nipper and I went out for a wee drive today; up to Farmfoods to get a couple of trays of Tango for SWMBO – got a couple of Dr Oetker pizzas while we were there for tea tonight. Plus some Pataks curry sauces – at 69p they were too cheap not to. We dropped [...] Took Stephen to the airport. Had to be there by 08.10 for his flight one hour later. 15 minutes free parking, which wasn’t too distressing. There’s also a £10 Airport Development Charge (tax) made against all passenger departing via Blackpool International, for which there are machines in the terminal to pay and get a ‘ticket’ [...] Dylan and I went out for a drive. Popped over to Freeport, Fleetwood. Had a walk round, bought him a drawing pad (he’s nearly filled all the pages of the one he got from the BookStart thing). We also went into the Cadbury outlet; they were selling little gorilla toys (of the back of the [...] Public Information Film (circa 1966, UK):
