…fidence is now zero!
We ordered a Chinese via eatitnow.co.uk from Cosmo on Reads Avenue, Blackpool.
Delivery chap arrives and over charges (£17 when it was £15 on the site). When I said how much it said it would be on the site he advised me I couldn’t have ordered it online because they don’t have a site, then he backtracks saying it’s eatitnow’s fault, “they’re always doing that. It’s £17, I’ve got the receipt in the car…” though he was in no hurry to go and get the fucking thing.
To add insult to injury (while the food was very nice) the portions were very small compared to the usual takeaway cartons one receives, more restaurant portions/prices not takeaway. Plus, the order said there would be 10 Prawn Balls, there were only 7!!
Never again, and I shall definitely never recommend either the site or the restaurant/takeaway to anyone, in fact if asked I shall advise against both.
Interestingly the site make a big deal (in red) about protecting themselves and the Cosmo in terms of fraud, don’t do fuck all to protect the client though, eh…
